Happy First Birthday Caroline!

On March 21st, Caroline turned 1! This year has gone by so fast. She has changed so much and brings so much joy to our family. She has tons of hair, only 2 teeth and weighs 15 lbs! She just started walking too. We celebrated her birthday with a lunch after church at our house. She loved her cupcake-she ate every bite!

Happy New Year!

I have decided that I am just not very good at this blog thing. It has been soooo long since I've udpated it! We did have a wonderful Christmas - lots of singing, parties, playing Baby Jesus/Mary, sipping hot chocolate and eating yummy food. I am thankful to the Lord for 2009 and how He's blessed us. I'm also excited for the new year and what's to come! I love the new year - a chance to start over in a sense. One thing I want to do this year is take life a little less seriously and enjoy life with Daniel and the girls more! So, here's to that!

Hannah Kate loves to dress up and has a great imagination - I guess most 3 year olds do! Getting ready for a bath turned into playing Mary and Baby Jesus. HK is Mary if you didn't guess. :)

Daniel always says Caroline looks like she's been through a whirlwind, especially when she wakes up. The other morning when she woke up, she definitely had the best "wooster" hair yet.

Fall Activities

October has been a super busy and fun month! We celebrated Hannah Kate's 3rd birthday, went to dress up parties, pumpkin patches, and fall festivals. This is my favorite time of year, but I'm a little relieved that it's November! Now we'll gear up for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

had a blast at the pumpkin patch - took a hayride to see the animals. HK even fed a goat!

Annual dress up party at our friends The Franklins - always a great time! Daniel's afro was huge - you just can't see it because it blended in to the night sky!

3 Years!

It is hard to believe that Hannah Kate is 3 years old! I can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. I remember walking the halls with her hoping she would stop crying as a newborn:). She has brought such joy and laughter to our lives. She loves dressing up "fancy" and playing kitchen and doll house. She also loves books, puzzles and painting! We are so thankful for Hannah Kate! She has had quite a celebration for her birthday and it's not over yet! They celebrated her birthday at school and then we celebrated at home and went to Sports Connection with Daddy. What a fun couple of days!

Festival in the Park and a Slumber Party

Last weekend we went to Festival in the Park. We had a great time. HK loved riding the rides as long as Daddy was with her! We also had a slumber party with 2 of the girls' cousins - Madeline and Annalisa. They had a great time dancing and playing dress up. They are sweet big cousins to our girls!

1st Day of Preschool

Hannah Kate had her first day of preschool at Calvary on Tuesday. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to go, especially when she held on to Daniel with all her might and screamed when the teacher grabbed her from him. When I picked her up Ms. Amy said that she did awesome and didn't cry at all after we left. She walked right in today without crying at all. I think she likes it! :) Way to go Hannah Kate!!

Summer Lovin'

I can't believe summer is almost over! Caroline is 4 months old and is such a joy! Her smile lights up her whole face. She is really starting to interact with us - laughing, smiling and watching (especially Hannah Kate). HK is constantly singing and talking to her. Caroline loves her big sister! And HK loves her "Baby Sisty". We are so thankful for her!
