Fall Activities

October has been a super busy and fun month! We celebrated Hannah Kate's 3rd birthday, went to dress up parties, pumpkin patches, and fall festivals. This is my favorite time of year, but I'm a little relieved that it's November! Now we'll gear up for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

3 Years!

It is hard to believe that Hannah Kate is 3 years old! I can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. I remember walking the halls with her hoping she would stop crying as a newborn:). She has brought such joy and laughter to our lives. She loves dressing up "fancy" and playing kitchen and doll house. She also loves books, puzzles and painting! We are so thankful for Hannah Kate! She has had quite a celebration for her birthday and it's not over yet! They celebrated her birthday at school and then we celebrated at home and went to Sports Connection with Daddy. What a fun couple of days!

Festival in the Park and a Slumber Party

Last weekend we went to Festival in the Park. We had a great time. HK loved riding the rides as long as Daddy was with her! We also had a slumber party with 2 of the girls' cousins - Madeline and Annalisa. They had a great time dancing and playing dress up. They are sweet big cousins to our girls!

1st Day of Preschool

Hannah Kate had her first day of preschool at Calvary on Tuesday. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to go, especially when she held on to Daniel with all her might and screamed when the teacher grabbed her from him. When I picked her up Ms. Amy said that she did awesome and didn't cry at all after we left. She walked right in today without crying at all. I think she likes it! :) Way to go Hannah Kate!!

Summer Lovin'

I can't believe summer is almost over! Caroline is 4 months old and is such a joy! Her smile lights up her whole face. She is really starting to interact with us - laughing, smiling and watching (especially Hannah Kate). HK is constantly singing and talking to her. Caroline loves her big sister! And HK loves her "Baby Sisty". We are so thankful for her!

Burns Beach Trip 2009

We just returned from our annual Burns beach trip to Ocean Isle. This year there were 10 adults and 11 children (ages 8 and under) all in the same house! We had tons of fun and it was great being together! Now we need to rest up from our vacation! Here are some pictures of our trip....

Big Girl or Baby??

I know it's been a while since I've updated our blog. We are trying to adjust to life with 2 little girls in the house! Caroline is 6 weeks old today! It has gone by so fast. She is so sweet and such a blessing to us! Hannah Kate is a great big sister but sometimes she's not quite sure if she wants to be the big sister or the baby....

Introducing Caroline Scott Burns

Caroline Scott Burns was born on March 21st at 5:58 am. She weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz and was 18 3/4 inches long. She has a head full of brown hair that sticks up everywhere! We are so blessed to have 2 precious girls. Here are a few pictures of her first moments here.....

Finally, an update!

It's been way too long since I've updated our blog. There's lots going on around our house. We've moved Hannah Kate into her big girl room. She also had her first haircut. She is talking up a storm and is really becoming a big girl. It is fun to see her personality develop.
